Thank you to all of those members, Retirees and families that participated in the Blood Drive here at the Local. Please take a moment to vote at the bottom right hand corner of this website for the slogan you would most like to see on the next Local 245 bumper sticker. We are closing the voting this Friday July 10, 2009. Region 1-A will be hosting CAP screening for 7 cities next Wednesday. This CAP screening is for local politicians that have requested the UAW endorsement for Mayor and/or City Council seats. The candidates come to Region 1-A and are interviewed by our members to see if they qualify for our UAW endorsement. If anyone is interested in being part of the screening committee please email me or call the local.
